A Foggy Visit to Sand Beach in Acadia National Park

Our visit to Sand Beach in Acadia National Park was quite literally overshadowed by fog. Thick, cold, wet fog hung heavy in the air, obscuring the views in most directions. I turned inland where I found a trail into the woods the green foliage accentuated by the dense grey fog. The pathway was dirt, winding slightly in from the coast eventually leading towards a large rock in the distance called Great Head. I meandered through the wooded trail, observing the hidden patches of daisies and delicate webs coated with dew.
