Some sunsets are worth making a u-turn. I had just finished up a family portrait session in Avon when we passed this sunset sky. Forrest made a quick u-turn and we rushed to the beach to watch in awe as the sky filled with orange and red over the skill Pamlico Sound. There wasn't much time, so I only grabbed a couple of photographs, but it was the kind of sunset that sears itself into your mind for months to come.

These images were created using the Sony a7rIII + 24-70 mm G master lens.
