Pacific Grove by Day

I'm fairly certain that Pacific Grove is the place of fairy tales.  This adorable coastal town near Monterey is also incredibly beautiful. The water color is unreal, the wildflowers are paint brush worthy, and it's a stopping point for migrating monarchs.  It's quaint, quiet, and full of charm.  We spent an afternoon walking along the shoreline trail, soaking up the sunshine and the incredible views. Along the way, we passed scenes of crashing waves and boats fishing just off shore. We met up with a ground squirrel who was very disappointed that we didn’t have any treats to offer. We watched long board surfers catch long rides, cutting left to avoid the rocky shore of the inlet.
