Stormy Day at the Frisco Pier

Confession time... these photographs of the beloved Frisco Pier on Hatteras Island are from New Years Day.  January 1st.  I was cleaning up my files and realized that I'd never shared them.  So, here we are.  3 months later.  The pier has likely changed.  Winter storms surely washed away more that the pier wanted to give.  In the next few weeks, spring will arrive, but the storms won't stop.  The tide will constantly chip away at her until she has nothing left to give.
