Thoughts at the Year's End

You don't have to see where you are going.  You don't have to see your destination or everything you will pass along the way.

You just have to see two or three feet ahead of you.

Here we are, at the end of another year.  It's amazing how quickly they fly by.  One day, it's January 1st and you're setting goals, making resolutions, and feeling empowered... and then next day, it's Thanksgiving and you're thinking of all you're grateful for, what you wish you did differently, and how you'd like to live next year.  If there is one thing that is certain, it's that time passes and you can't get it back.  The future is unknown, no matter how hard you plan for it.  So, I hope you find pride in your past, joy in your every day, hope in your tomorrows.  Stop living with fear, regret, longing and just start.  Stop waiting for the right time.  Take the first step.  Find serenity in the unknown.
