Time Spent by the Sea

“She loved the sea. She liked the sharp salty smell of the air, and the vastness of the horizons bounded only by a vault of azure sky above. It made her feel small, but free as well."

There is simply something magical about time spent by the sea.  The day could be cold and grey or hot and sunny, it really makes no difference to me.  I find fulfillment in the sound of the waves kissing the shore, joy in the movement as the water flows in and out, and peace in being surrounded by something that is so much more than what is here on land.  The beauty of the unknown, the hidden depths, and the vastness of the ocean all intrigue me.
