What is the Best Focal Length for Landscape Photography?
I believe that landscapes can be photographed at any focal length. The most important thing to understand is how focal length affects a scene’s appearance in an image. A wide angle lens will exaggerate minimize far away subjects and exaggerate what is close to the lens. A longer focal length or telephoto lens will emphasize what is further from your camera by compressing the scene to bring distant subjects closer to you. By using a combination of focal lengths, you can vary the appearance of the objects in the scene.
