Our Month in Ecuador- Roasting Coffee the Traditional Way

Coffee Roasting Supplies, Mindo, Ecuador

We visited El Quetzal de Mindo to experience their chocolate, and let me tell you, it was wonderful. They make a brownie that is so decadent, one bite is all you can handle without needing a glass of milk (or a sip of red wine). But when it comes to our experience there, roasting coffee was the true highlight of our visit. The owner took us through the process from bean to cup and while our coffee might have been a little over roasted, it was still quite the experience.
